AI-mageddon: How to survive the AI content blocking crisis

GetInference AI nuggets Jan 17

Hey there, fellow AI pioneers ! Ladies and gentlemen, the prodigal son has returned! 🤣

I've just come back from Japan 🎌, where I spent some quality time with my in-laws, and by "quality time" I mean eating my way through the country and packing on a few extra kilos. 🍣But, I wasn't just lounging around, I also spent my time working on a masterclass about Generative AI, which I've affectionately dubbed the "monster course." It's 300 slides of pure joy that will turn any newbie AI marketer into a machine. I'll be sure to give you all the juicy details in our next newsletter. But, if you're in the Digital Jersey area, you're in luck because I'll be teaching it there tomorrow. (link)

So yes, I've been on a wild ride of discovery for the past 4 weeks, uncovering some additional mind-blowing secrets about using AI to boost your marketing game. And I'll be honest, some of it might be a little controversial, but trust me, it's going to be worth it. So, get ready to throw away your old marketing playbook and embrace the unpredictable power of AI. Buckle up, this is going to be one wild ride! I am going to start today with some sizzling new hot tips to share with you on how to harness the power of AI to boost your marketing and creative efforts.

SPOTLIGHT

So, let's dive in! Have you been feeling like Christopher Columbus lately? Like you're discovering gold nuggets of knowledge every time you scroll through your LinkedIn feed? Well, that's exactly what it feels like when you're exploring the world of AI, and specifically, the world of ChatGPT.

Let's talk about the elephant in the room: the world of ChatGPT ( or label space as it is called). You see, when ChatGPT is fine-tuned, it's given prompts and asked to complete them with 4 different options. Then, human proofreaders are asked to rank the options from best to worst. So, every time a human proofreader gives feedback, it's like a vote for ChatGPT to express itself in a certain way. But, here's the catch: most of us don't get a say in the voting process, and the voting process itself is extremely opaque. It's like a pseudo-democratic dictatorship. So, just be warned

Now, you don't think you'll be able to use ChatGPT (and generative AI) forever in your blog posts, Google campaigns, Facebook ads, etc do you ? Well, you shouldn't, because the output of ChatGPT will be blocked by these platforms. So Although I'm glad to discover that we can do all these things brilliantly, if they're blocked, they're not really valuable, are they?

TOOLS

Now, if it is blocked, some clever folks out there have found a way to beat the system with a "Plagiarism tricker workflow" (link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z1h0ycZpBac).

But beware, not all "free AI detectors" mentioned in this video are created equal. I personally took an AI-generated article, rewrote 90% of it with original ideas, and was still told it was 94% AI content by certain detectors. So, I erased the few AI-generated sentences and tried again, and they still said it was 100% AI-generated. Talk about a real kick in the creative pants.

This one seems to do the job though : Copyleaks (link: https://airadar.getinference.com/selected_product/1673493950189x282026572245106700) that actually worked.

And if you're too lazy or have no time to watch the video, the gist of it is that he's using AI models to rewrite AI content and has ranked the best performers models. Jasper being the winner.

(Disclaimer: I do not recommend using any methods that involve tricking or circumventing the system in any way. It is important to always adhere to ethical standards and guidelines.)

👉-And in some more recent news, Getty Images is suing the creators of AI art tool Stable Diffusion for scraping its content (link: https://www.theverge.com/2023/1/17/23558516/ai-art-copyright-stable-diffusion-getty-images-lawsuit). Getty Images claims that Stable AI unlawfully scraped millions of images from its site. This is a significant escalation in the legal battles between generative AI firms and content creators.
